Fishing in Kansas
Kansas may be landlocked, but its reservoirs deliver outstanding fishing. Milford Lake is the largest in Kansas and hosts walleye, wipers, and catfish. Cheney Reservoir near Wichita is a top wiper fishery. The Kansas River and its tributaries offer excellent flathead catfish. El Dorado Lake provides good largemouth bass action.
