Fishing in Louisiana

Louisiana's coastal marshes are the premier redfish and speckled trout fishery in the country. The Atchafalaya Basin offers bass, catfish, and crappie in a maze of bayous. Offshore, the rigs south of Port Fourchon and Venice attract yellowfin tuna, mahi, and wahoo. Toledo Bend Reservoir on the Texas border is a top largemouth bass lake.
