Fishing in Wisconsin
Wisconsin is muskie country — the Minocqua chain, Chippewa Flowage, and St. Croix River are legendary for trophy muskellunge. Lake Michigan receives steelhead and Chinook salmon runs each fall. Door County offers outstanding perch and smallmouth bass fishing. The Wisconsin River system and inland lakes hold walleye, bass, and northern pike across the state.
